Job Description

The job roles include: Prepare for and attend sourcing, approval and monitoring meetings with private equity, venture capital and real asset infrastructure fund managers. Document all pertinent information/issues derived from meetings; Assist in the due diligence process for new fund investments and co-investment opportunities. Perform relevant performance analysis, model and analyze deal structures for co-investment opportunities; Perform quantitative and qualitative analysis for investments to external clients, internal business partners including portfolio managers, legal, and compliance; Portfolio activities include firm representation at investor board meetings and portfolio management reviews with the portfolio manager and external clients. Will engage in a variety of governance topics including financing and other capital raising discussions, company staffing needs including compensation, legal and compliance matters; Work closely with senior staff in the research and analysis (including modeling through the investment life) on various infrastructure and energy related investments including macro and portfolio trends; These investments may include debt, convertible debt and direct equity in pipelines, transmission lines, contracted power, transportation assets and utility companies on infrastructure side; and renewable power, storage companies and other energy related companies on the energy side; Work with internal business partners to ensure all legal, compliance, and accounting requirements are being met; Prepare internal memoranda and other materials used to support investment and portfolio recommendations and to communicate with internal constituents and external clients; etc.
