Job Description

The job roles include: Oversee strategic relationships with an array of financial market participants, including infrastructure debt issuers, financial advisors, underwriters, and investors; Manage, conduct and maintain initial and on-going credit analysis on a complex and high profile portfolio of companies; Conduct quantitative assessment of financial statements, financial forecasts, and economic/market data, as well as analysis of financing documents including official statements, bond indentures, liquidity agreements, swap agreements and other documents; Lead issuer meetings, including presenting key rating factors effectively and asking probing questions that result in substantive dialog about key rating issues. Actively monitor portfolio and make recommendations for rating transitions in a timely fashion; Present credits effectively and comprehensively in rating committees and other internal analytical meetings to assign and maintain credit ratings; Produce insightful and timely research on specific issuers, sectorial credit trends or sector related issues; Plan and lead outreach initiatives to engage with key market participants through outreach conferences, intermediary briefings, one-on-one investor meetings and interviews with the press; Help ensure that the team complies with credit and compliance/regulatory policy issues as directed by Senior Management and/or the Compliance department; Coach and develop junior analysts and support associates with editorial guidance
